The power of presidential pardon is another relic

that should not be there anymore. It can be abused at will by crooks like Trump. Imagine if one of his goons goes and murder a few democrats in Washington DC. Trump could just pardon that person of that federal crime.
Et voila! The opposition is gotten rid of.

let's also get rid of the idea that we can all just "move on" and heal after this shiz show we have had for the last 4 years.

If we move on, we are just waiting for the next repub admin who thinks they can pull almost anything cause Trumpco got away with it.

forget the healing, Prison for this criminals or we are not better then they are....Roger Stone Karma is coming for you soon.

firing squads, labor camps, etc. I'm not ready to throw pardon power out entirely, especially when it might involve unfair sentencing, racial biases, archaic laws and so forth.
Yes, Trump is abusing the power, but doing away with it entirely is a rash decision.

This is one of them.

Any possible good use of the Presidential pardon is outweighed by its potential for abuse.

We need a new Presidential Powers Amendment that would, among other things, elminate the pardon.
