It is here now and this is sadly as good as it is likely to ever get again...

Diseases are emerging.
Resources are depleting.
Inequality is growing.
Greed is flourishing.

Hope is dying.
The future is CO2 levels soaring, incomes and economies shattering, crops and water vanishing.

Masks and distance won't save us from the calamity that is as predictable as sunrise or the tides, yet is being ignored as if pretending and magical thinking can actually make a difference.

We - humans, and the rest of world under our sick and inept stewardship - are doomed.
We can't get Americans to accept hard science.
We can't end this destructive, idiotic politicization of EVERYTHING to the point that 40+% of Americans devote themselves to a political party devoid of values, bereft of morals and bankrupt at its core.
