I say this as a person who supported Warren and Sanders in the primary, the Biden campaign has been the most professional and organized thru out this election cycle. Not perfect, but still the best run.
I am enheartened that people of Howard Dean's stature in the party recognize and endorse how well the Biden campaign and the DNC are working together to toss Trump in the garbage bin of history.

(16,783 posts)It is heartening to know that Joe Biden is reaching voters virtually in all of the states and putting into play states that normally go to Republicans. To compete in Texas, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Arizona, is indeed eye popping to say the least.
The mere fact that Trump's poll numbers now have him in the upper 30% range has to be a boost to Joe Biden even amongst Moderate Republicans, Independents, Suburban women, and the Democratic base. That his message is getting through to people that we need solutions to Racial and economic disparity, Income disparity, Civil and Voting rights, Health care access, and so much more. Issues Trump and the Republicans do not want to deal with and wish would go away so they can stay in power.
I think I am correct in what I say.

I am having a little trouble following your second sentence there.
But, in any case, personally, as someone that did not support Joe as one of my top choices in the primaries, I think it's important to acknowledge the strengths of his campaign that have earned him the nomination.
I am overjoyed that those strengths are already being applied to defeat Trump in the presidential election.

(56,828 posts)but, in 2018 the "experts" predicted that Dems would pick up 15-25 seats in the House, and Democrats picked up 40 or 41.
And, what could have been catastrophic losses in the Senate with what has been called the worst Senate map in history, Dems only lost a net of 2 seats - and, Florida and Texas were both very close.
Democrats also picked up a net 6 or 7 governorships and hundreds of state & local seats as well.
Sure, some of it was anti-Trump sentiment, but Dems overperformed at the national and state levels compared to polling.
