And he wasn't writing people off. In fact, immediately after his controversial comment he made the point that you have to keep going out to talk to both the folks who agree with you and those who don't:

"Um, now these are in some communities, you know. I think what you'll find is, is that people of every background, um, there are gonna be a mix of people, you can go in the toughest neighborhoods, you know working-class lunch-pail folks, you'll find Obama enthusiasts. Uh, and you can go into places where you think that I'd be very strong and people will just be skeptical. The important thing is that you show up and you're doing what you're doing. So ..."

She's making him stick to the point and the details.

This guy's got an agenda.

She's quoting romney and his policies and how it reflects his policies. The "let the economy crash, and let the houses forclose" statements.

He's trying again with a focus group of negativity, and lame-duck hopelessness about Obama.

This guy really isn't a reporter: He's one of them.
