I just booked a vacation for next year in Thailand.

Both the airfare and the tour itself are fully refundable until shortly before departing, so if travel reetrictions are still in place half a year from now I'll just delay it. Let's hope things are better by then.

...airfare was refunded, the scholar program is rolling over enrollment to next year. No dates as of yet

S Africa still has a ban on US citizens traveling I think right now

Luckily, the airlines and hotels were very flexible.

Right now, I can't envision a time when I would be willing to get into a hollow metal tube hurtling through the air at 550 miles per hour seven miles above the earth with dozens or maybe hundreds of other people all inhaling and exhaling the same air. That is just unthinkable to me. I might be willing to do it in a fully self-contained hazmat suit, complete with its own air supply. And a disinfectant bath waiting for me at my destination.
