Doesn't Joe have campaign advisors?

Who thought it would be good optics to let him speak with a mask hanging from one ear?
It just looks silly.
He could have it on the table in front of him.
jeez

1. Maybe couldn't see it on the dark table

At least it shows he wears one.

5. I think it's kind of endearing.

It shows he has no ego, no narcissism. in contrast to our current pResident.

9. Really?

At a time when a company in Maine has to destroy thousands of swabs because IMPOTUS refuses to wear a mask, you're criticizing our nominee for having one visible.

11. Did not look silly to me.

I thought it showed he was wearing one and that he needed to let it slip in order to be heard. It is something any of us would do. It also shows he is strong and above ego. Go, Joe. I also agree it is an endearing moment.

12. I thought the same but realized I do the same in my car

Itís fine Iím sure the repugs will mock him but this election is all about those that wear a mask and those that donít. Those that donít donít give two fucks about their fellow human beings.

13. Silly complaint. I do the same thing because

it's quick and easy to get your mask on when you need it. Since its basically half on already, you only touch the ear piece, not the fabric which gets dirty as in filters the air I breathe. it saves a lot or time.

I don't want to lay my mask on any surface in a public place due to the higher risk of contamination. If I put that mask on, whatever nasty stuff the mask picked up is getting on my hands and face, adding to my exposure risk.

Joe's doing it right, and you could learn something from his example.

I do the same thing, unless I'm (occasionally) wearing a Buff, then it's around my neck.

14. Who cares

Ridiculous.

Anyone wearing masks probably does the same thing -- I do, unless I'm using a Buff. This is nothing strange at all.

The optics are not only fine, they are great! At least someone running for Prez is taking this seriously.

19. I thought that there could be hygienic reasons

as in minimizing how often and where you touch the mask and also not letting it get into contact with something that others might have been in contact with. But it also might have been just out of convenience.

Keep the mask away from it.

22. His advisors are doing a tremendous job

Have you noticed how Biden is doing all the things a normal president would do in a time of crisis, while the actual president barricades himself inside the WH and takes zero responsibility for the utter chaos that envelops the United States?

I give his advisors an A++

24. Don't for one second believe that was an accident.

Itís a great optical. He does what he advocates we do, he keeps it in the visual field, people say things about it and he gets to smile and say ďWhy yes, I DO act responsibly and donít let vanity keep me from protecting you.Ē
