NASCAR stands tall today. I've been around or involved in racing in various capacapities my adult

Life. I have never seen racing stand taller than today. I have beefs with them but today led first by the young drivers NASCAR did a beautiful job. If you can see at least the start You'll cry.

Well done, NASCAR.

2. I'd love to recommend this

and even cry along with you but your post is substance free.

Can you tell us what NASCAR did?

15. Just a great outpouring of emotion. It is something you can't describe

It was lead by The youngsters in racing But ex champion Jeff Gordon delivered a powerful piece. 7 time champion Jimmy Johnson did also. It kicked off with the text from Bubba Wallace mom who started with As the Mpther of a black son Bubba bawled I bawled. I hope it is available on you tube. It made my heart sing.

3. Never been a fan, but since it's been one of the few live sports..

I have been paying attention more. I must have missed what they did.

5. Powerful message! NASCAR has a big rt wing fan base. They may be forced to deal with their

Racism or quit NASCAR

8. Apparently their hard-core RW fans are solidly outnumbered.

I'm not surprised. Certainly most drivers are not in sympathy with them, though I notice the winner, Kevin Harvick, did not make a personal statement.

16. Oh, sorry. I searched a couple articles on this for his name

among the others and didn't see it. Probably copying others' reporting. But that's great.

11. I said it was lead by the young guys. One of whom was Richard Childress

Grandson Childress was a VP NRA in line to be President when he suddenly resigned.

10. This is Junior's influence at work, IMO

He's not a RWNJ and never has been. Being who he is, he's one of the few who could push real change in NASCAR and get it.
