Just the facts about less lethal beanbag rounds (by an officer)

it appears the bag of shot penetrated her head with the "tail" described in the video the only thing visible on the outside. She's still in the hospital, as of yesterday she's still in the ICU. Terrible to see. All she was doing was standing and taking video when she was shot. Some news outlets called it a beanbag, others a rubber bullet.

The closing remarks were silly given the demonstration had just proved how accurately beanbag rounds can be aimed and delivered, and how deadly they can be given the ease with which they penetrated the various targets. There's no sense pretending US law enforcement doesn't aim for protestors' heads, particularly the eyes. The demonstration showed that it's quite possible to practice your aim with this 'tool' and get good enough to hit people in the face and eyes at will. It's obvious from the number of people losing their sight or having their eyeballs destroyed entirely that in at least some cases, this is exactly what's happening.
