Time to change the name of The "White"House

The adjective to describe a most visible structure in our country is unfortunate at best. I personally found it ironic and satisfyingly amusing when the first black man moved in. His family may be the greatest to ever reside there and care for it.

What’s a good name?
Possibly:

The People’s House
President’s Mansion (after most states gov mansion)

IDK... but it shouldn’t be the “white” house any longer in my opinion!

The name "White House" came about because of appearance. It wasn't a "show'em who's boss" measure like putting Confederate symbology on state flags, or sticking "under God" into the previously secular Pledge of Allegiance.

I don't think the name needs to be changed.

10. I did read the Wiki

After I posted to remind myself how became white house. I didn’t remember the Presidents mansion part but sort of remembered the painting part.

The problem with "white," "black," or "blue" or any other color name is that political and cultural meaning has been attached to the color. It would be better if these nuances were not carried over to the governmental building names.
