Oh and yeah...by the way...

I guess the virus is not going to go away when the weather gets warmer. Since in Brazil, itís fucking summer. I am so sick and tired of non-scientific wishful thinking fake religious bullshit coming out of these assholesí mouths. These are the dumbasses who didnít pay attention during science class because it was either over their heads or they were bored with it or theyíre too busy trying to feel up somebody or they were stoned or thinking about shooting craps somewhere.

Ever since Adlai Stevenson was termed an egghead in the 50s because he was bright and articulate, America began The denigration of intellect. At one time, believe it or not, in America it was considered to be advantageous to be smart and learned. Yes they were always people who picked on the smart kid or adult, but the general consensus was that intellect was an asset. Now itís considered a liability, and God forbid that anyone ever states anything the counters literal interpretation of the Bible in public. Such crap. Makes me want to vomit fast as a comet.

6. Brazil doesn't really have the same seasons we do...

The Equator goes through its Northern provinces, and much of the country is within the Tropical Zone. Technically they are in Autumn now, heading towards winter, though it isn't gonna snow much.

IAE, most of the country is warmer than most of the US, most of the time.

Your point is well taken, though, in that "warmer" weather probably won't change the contagious vectors much, except that more people getting outdoors is probably a good thing, instead of being indoors sharing air.

7. Brazil would be going into winter but since it straddles the equator, that's kinda moot

10. No one knows.

If you read about the original SARS and what they did, it's clear that we are doing exactly the same thing scientists did before re: control of the pandemic. Moreover, they had difficulties and stopped developing a vaccine for SARS. I'm not sure we want the virus to go away until we have developed a good, safe vaccine against it. Vaccines require funding, and without the stimulus or urgency, Asshole is likely not to fund any more research.

https://theconversation.com/the-mysterious-disappearance-of-the-first-sars-virus-and-why-we-need-a-vaccine-for-the-current-one-but-didnt-for-the-other-137583

This link pretty much states that 1) warm weather may or may not have influenced the disappearance of SARS, and 2) we have no idea what made it disappear.

So, we have not made much progress in deciphering this virus, and now we are retreading ground we crossed before.
