Isn't it odd Kansan birthers dropped their claim about Obama after their statehood was questioned?

So basically, birthers in Kansas call Obama's birth certificate into question... again.

The Obama Administration responds by saying that the statehood of Kansas may be doctored or forged, stating that it's very that there is a rectangular piece of land smack dab right in the middle of the US.

And then the birthers respond by well... They drop their claim and then retreat into their white supremacist conclaves or wherever they lurk during their off-time.

Now, I'm not saying that Kansas isn't really a state, but don't you think it's odd that they want to duck the issue?

friends, and colleagues--all who were apparently contacted to inquire why this action was being taken.

So, I think it is merely that he hadn't predicted and couldn't take the very well-earned derision.

Not our main PA guy, but he did the pregame/halftime/band stuff. This included the Pledge of Allegiance and Preamble.

Bubble. You start to believe that the majority of the country thinks just like you do, so it's a rude awakening when you realize that not everybody is a hatemonger like you. Like my dearly departed dad used to say, "Tough shitinski, Comrade."

Please source things before posting. Or, at least read to the bottom of DU threads (where the facts are revealed).

But, you gotta admit, the story that satirical ridicule works against ridiculous premises is still compelling.

With that, I am happy to R&K this thread.

If it did, I would have sourced that statement.

I googled it when I first read the story and noticed no news about it, if the White House did actually say it, it would have been national news in minutes. Something like that, if it really happened, would have been a breaking news story at the least.

I probably should have specified what I posted was satire, because one person is convinced that I fully believe it what I wrote. And we've all heard righties say "Now I'm not saying Obama does/is/etc. X, but he won't answer the charges." That's a jab at them.

Thanks for the R&K, glad you like it.
