Too many people do not think for themselves and other people are more than happy to do it for them. In fact, the people that do it for them find it essential to have a large band of them to steer and agitate and there are dozens of front groups, foundations and media outlets designed to decide their opinions for them.

These folks consider a contrarian view, (regardless of what it is) to be the correct view and conflate their boisterous repetitions of propaganda with thinking and their belief that something is true trumps the substance and facts Being "right" is all that matters.
