The supreme court has a real fucking simple decision to make.
Expose the most corrupt president in history or protect him. That's it, period, everything else is bullshit.

2. It is more than that...do they want a king or a president...a president above the law is a dictator
or king...also their relevance is at stake. If this is a nakedly political ruling, the court is finished.

4. I don't expect them to make a decision until after the election.
They will find a reason to delay.
Then after the election if Trump wins, the conservatives will vote to keep everything secret. If Biden becomes president they will quickly say the president has no immunity at all. |

5. Their decision should be based on the law, not fear or favor or political philosophy.
I'm not a lawyer, but I don't see any ambiguity in this law.
This should have been ruled on long ago. |

6. With this court 'should' doensn't hold much weight.
What empowers Republicans is a higher value for many of them than the rule of law.

7. They will protect him
They understand that is the only way they retain power, and stay out of jail.

8. I'm afraid you're right about that.
I think they're going to rule for trump keeping his crimes secret.

9. I listened for the first hour this morning
of oral arguments.
I think it will be a 6-3 decision against Trump. Alito, Kavanaugh, and Thomas will be the minority. |

10. That would make sense.
