I'm not going to put all the blame on Facebook, because I'm sure trump threatened them in some way. We are in a banana republic right now. For those who haven't seen it yet:

5. This is horrible! WTF happened to Politifact ?! The claim ".. but not main street" is very broad but
... politifact decided to narrow the definition of what "main street" was to call the ad false.
The Feds have ... NOT ... committed to buying consume debt level like they have at the corporate level WTF ?!?! |

6. No surprise since Mark Zuckerberg defended holocaust deniers with the
excuse that there are things that different people get wrong. I don't think it was intentional
Right Zuckerberg, a holocaust denier is not doing it intentionally. How stupid do you think people are? |

7. I think if they modified the ad st include something about "Only $1,200 for people who are
out of work for months" I bet FB would OK it. I'm pretty sure DT complained about not including anything re: the billions trying to help businesses & people.
I really liked the ad, but if their reason for cutting the ad was misleading about the bailout, then put it in there. |

12. The add is correct, the Feds committed to buying junk bond ETFs and is one of the reason NASDAQ is
... even on the year during a pandemic and the S&P went up 35% off the lows.
The Feds are not committing to buying consumer debt or even thinking about refinancing it to zero which they could easily do and boost the shit out the economy to the point of being concerned about inflation. No Feds say; Corporate debt? bought ... consumer debt? f**k off ... the add is correct, Trump picks the fed chief and con "suggest" something of the sort. |

15. Politifact narrowed the definition of "... main street" and didn't mention the Feds committed to buy
... corporate junk bond ETFs meaning ... NO ... corporation can go out of business for lack of being able to borrow funds at low interest rates.
https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/04/investing/fed-junk-bonds-etfs-debt/index.html That FED commitment fast stopped the index slides downward past 31% because even the worse run companies have money to borrow and didn't have to go out of business now and didn't need to borrow from the PPP ... which they did anyway mind you. The NASDAQ is even for the year now !! Get that, We're about to report Great Depression unemployment and the NASDAQ is even for the year and because of the heavyweight of Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Google ("FAANG" stocks) in the other index's IE the reason why the indexes go up on bad broad econ news. Marc Goldwein is either an idiot or the enemy and should know the FEDs commitment to buy Junk Bond ETFs (which is damn near text book socialism) is what stopped the index slides and now has the DOW going up on bad news |

23. Facebook marked it "Partly False"
Politifact analyzed the ad and took issue with one of the claims — that “Trump bailed out Wall Street, but not Main Street” — calling it “inaccurate.” Facebook then began taking punitive action against the Lincoln Project video, placing warning labels on the video, marking it as “Partly False.”
I think Politifact is kind of correct, but since the ad is made with such broad strokes, that sentence should be allowed. And yes, FB do stuff different now than four years ago. |

Don't forget, they had their team embedded with the Trump campaign in 2015/2016, helping them spread and target their misinformation.

I’d like a non-evil social platform and then I’d come back.
I’ve been on Facebook for maybe ten minutes in the past two months to check messages. Don’t miss it. Well, I do, but not as much as I loathe it. |

28. And yet they let Cambridge Analytica and Jared mine all your
personal information to get Donny Bodybags elected.
And whatever Cambridge Analytica calls itself now is definitely doing it again. With Facebook's help. But, yeah, you can't zoom or phone a grandchild and MUST have Facebook. Because reasons. OR, you're going to stay on Facebook and singlehandedly fight against the data mining and message flooding. Because you're that good at it. We do these things to ourselves. |
