An I.C.U. doctor felt despair for COVID patients. Soon, she organized concerts over the phone.

2. I have always said I hope I am listening to the Ramones when I leave this world.

I hope I get to do it that way and not surrounded by sharks in the water trying to "save" my soul, but the reality is that I will probably die surrounded by Bible Belt policy to let these extremist right wing Christians harass the dying whether we want it or not.

Hell, my aunt WAS a Christian and they harassed her until the day she died. They circled her like sharks in the water. They were yelling in her face at the VA, "DO YOU BELIEVE IN GOD?" while she was dying and she could not even speak any more.

I do NOT want that. I wish there was a group who would protect me in case I no longer have the strength to fight these assholes. I'd rather be listening to something I loved, The Ramones. My favorite music was the closest thing to religion I could ever find as a gay person.
