A serious question for Bernie supporters

The primaries are over and Sen. Sanders has graciously and honorably endorsed former VP Biden. Nevertheless, I am seeing grumbling posts to near hostile posts about our presumptive nominee even at this stage.

So my question is this:

Would you (Bernie supporters) have been happier with Sens. Harris, Klobuchar, Booker, Warren, Mayor Buttiegieg, former congressman Beto O'Rourke or any of the other candidates being the nominee wherein there would not have been the aforementioned grumbling/hostility?

Prove me wrong when I think that no matter who had been the nominee other than Sen. Sanders, some of you would have been unhappy and not be fully on board. If that is the case, isn't it only about a person worship and not policy?

Mind you, even if Sen. Sanders had become the nominee, he would have had to move to the center and blunt some of his extreme left rhetoric for the GE. So Sen. Sanders' policies would have had to evolve for the GE to attract center-left progressives and centrist voters anyway.

4. You could and should leave out the part about Biden losing in November. It dampens down the vote and

really is that what you want?

19. Thank you for pointing that out, Dems!

Very Important.. if that's all the confidence they have they should keep it to themselves.

2. I would have been perfectly happy with Warren. Biden is too moderate for me and I don't

like some of his previous stances on issues but I will reluctantly vote for him.

15. I agree and agree. I also acknowledge that we have seen Biden expand and maybe might be more

what we want then what his nomination would originally have been. I think he gets this is not about him. He was the one we all mostly got behind but not because he was a first choice. He has picked up Warren policy and has leaned more left. I personally have been very happy with that approach.

3. Not liking this thread

Another chance to list the shit out there about Biden.

Worse statement....

“I don’t think Joe can win in November”

We don’t need to know or hear that crap

We don’t need to feed the RW with
Crap like “Biden supporters hold their nose in what they think is a losing vote”

6. Ditto.

A new poster with a low-post counting trying to rekindle flames that had pretty much subsided around these parts over the past few weeks? A bit suspicious, I'd say.

11. After Sanders I would have preferred Warren.

Biden would have been almost the last of my choices among the candidate. But the primary is over, so I will vote for Biden. My enthusiasm other then getting rid of Trump is "meh". Would like him to choose someone to the left of himself for VP.

13. "Prove me wrong..."

Rational thought places the burden of proof on you to support your initial premise.

Allow us objective evidence supporting your premise, and you'll take the first, wonderfully freeing step on your way to critical thought.

14. Senator Warren would have been my second choice.

My understanding is that Bernie is still on ballot in Oregon and I look forward to casting my vote for him in May.

I will unenthusiastically vote for Biden in November.

22. this seems to be a 'let's re-fight the 2020 primaries' thread that serves two purposes, neither good

1. It is baiting the Sanders people and does nothing to foster any sort of unity.

2. It gives an opportunity for some to randomly shit-stir via possible smears of Biden, which also does nothing to foster any sort of unity.

23. "Some people" are still all in on John Delaney.

There will never be 100% transfer of votes from losing to winning candidates. That just doesn't happen. Be happy with the 95% of Bernie voters you do get, and continue practicing positive outreach to convince the others, but stop framing it as some kind of betrayal. It is not.
