(31,261 posts)I have a nice pair of old jeans and a sowing kit. I have teeshirts also. I am not at the point of sewing DYI masks because I have an N95 mask and my brother that owns a farm has a package with a number of them, brand new.

(18,402 posts)to use for extra masks, my spouse combed through his top drawer to see if he still had any bandanas. No, those had apparently expired sometime during the 1970s.
But he emerged with a yarmulke (skull cap) that perfectly covered his nose and mouth area. He jokingly proposed that perhaps we could tie some straps on it. Unfortunately, it was a souvenir from a wedding and had Mazel Tov, plus the bride and grooms names, emblazoned in gold lettering on it. I deemed it inappropriate and ridiculous. We sure had a good laugh, though!
