I was thinking the same thing. That was Trump level incompetence. Republicans in power tend to bring a whole lot of death and destruction.

When a party is taken over by hacks, with no talents or skills other than deceit and money grubbing, this is exactly what you get. Any competence in that party has long since died off or been driven away. It's now the greatest collection of fools, cons and lunatics in American political history.
