To The State Department Employees Who Knowingly Serve In Dangerous Stations Around The Globe

Representing the government and the people of The United States to the world for little pay and almost no notoriety, I salute your service and mourn the loss of your colleagues.

To the families, friends, and loved ones of those diplomats who lost their lives in service to our country, your loss is felt by every American, and we mourn their sacrifice in service to our nation along with you.

To the good people of Libya who have condemned the violence done by religious extremists
in their country, I stand with you in your struggle to make a peaceful Libya for all her citizens, and I thank you for your show of support in rejecting the intolerant.

And to those craven cowards who would use a tragic event such as this to try to score cheap political points in a vain attempt at personal glory, may you rot in Hell.
