I'm Glad The Big Guy In Washington Is Taking A Firm But Reasonable Approach

And not following the lead of some on the left who want to evacuate from the entire region tomorrow and those on the right who want an immediately military approach.

I am almost finished reading Barack Obama-The Story by David Maraniss...It's a great book. Barack's friends remember him as somebody who resisted the easy solutions offered by the left and the right and often said "the truth probably lies somewhere in between."

The Middle East is a mess... So are a lot of parts of the world...Their problems won't be solved in our lifetimes. The best we can do is manage them soberly, dispassionately, and compassionately.
