They've been sending us to die to protect their profits and their markets and access to resources for as long as they've been in existence.

As someone else in this thread put it, you can yell fire in a theater, but also we need to find the person who caused the spark.

Anyone can yell fire in a theater, it's covered under the first amendment, but that doesn't mean you still won't be charged for inciting a riot.

Words matter.

Someone obviously told the Egyptian TV pundit that this was a big movie that represented the American viewpoint.

There needs to be someone who can push back against the propaganda in real time and put the record straight.

And I am not sure that that small minority of Muslims willing to engage in these sorts of activities can be reasoned with.

not particularly religious -- but motivated to hear what he wanted from jump street.

but i would also contend -- that he wasn't mistaken by what he heard or the intention in what he heard.

he heard murder and he was right.

My point is merely that communication takes a sender and a receiver.

Sometimes a person is prepared to receive the message they are prepared to hear.

likely one they hadn't even see, just heard about, then it could have been something else.

I don't blame Catcher in the Rye for John Lennon's death. Do you?

Cut together quickly. Simple sets and production. Dialogue and imagery is simple so it will be understood by the least educated. Shadowy producer backing the film and then there is the fact that it was translated into Arabic almost immediately. This thing has psyop written all over it, in my opinion.

Conscript Mr. Jones and his followers and send them over there to discuss the film with its critics.
