Floridians - I'm so sorry

For what's about to happen to you.

Last night on Rachel Maddow, she showed that Kinsa Health map (aka the fever map) where all the fevers are mapped by their app on digital thermometers. Normal sicknesses are filtered put and it only shows abnormal sickness. Well, even after all that was done, your state was SO full of red fever dots! Even more than NY state!

And there is your dumbass Governor not shutting anything down in the name of spring break money, and now 1000's more of you are going to die. You didn't know you were electing such "stupid", but it happened anyways and now innocent people are going to die.

I'm so sorry.

Our governor is a dumb coward who didn't deserve to be elected. Sad to say, there will be so many older and
immuno-compromised people who will be dying, because of Trump and DeSantis.

At least Orange County (Orlando) has a stay-home order and I think Miami-Dade has one too. Not sure about
Broward County (Ft. Lauderdale).

You are right, I think the russians hacked florida, how else does an Astronaut like Nelson well respected not get re-elected?

How else does Florida overwhelming pass that people who were previously prisoners can vote afterward but not elect a Democrat? Those are definitely democratic values and notice how they tried to undo that by making the ex cons pay old debts off and crap like that so that they still couldn't vote.

Or being kept secret?

This past weekend, some group set up a drive through test station at the villages and offered free tests to anyone who wanted one. They were very busy. The goal was to get a community assessment of the disease since this group is older, trump loving socializers, who would seem to be more at risk than the general population.

They tested a lot of people. The results should be ready. Will they be shared?

before retiring to their condos for their quarantine, so they pass on their virus to the locals. Not a good place to be. That map was scary.

Looking back, maybe the airlines world-wide should have been grounded when the corona virus story broke in Wuhan, and stopped the spread.

Wed Mar 25, 2020, 11:15 AM
Mar 2020

Gov Cuomo has made it quite clear NYC is ground zero for the high number of people with the virus, and that they should stay home. When I go out for groceries in FL I don't want those people near me, or in the stores, fresh off a plane from any NYC area airports this past week, bc it will be their fault for spreading the virus.

And because the orange shitbag did not order test kits, we all have to assume were contagious for the virus until we're tested.

are they at fault? No one should be flying anywhere but I'm sure there are things that can't be put off. You would think hordes of New Yorkers are flocking to Florida. Seems like the wrong time of year, and while NY might be ground zero now, Florida is not be far behind. Surely NY'ers are smarter than that, except for those that live there.

With attitudes like this we can move New Yorkers to the top of the list of those to be hated. Californians can be #2. Never mind that the infection numbers are so high because of high density populations. Well, DUH! Minor technicality, but it can be used to spread fear and hate.

It is apropos, since he hates New Yorkers because we (I am an expat) are on to him, and Californians, well, just because they are Californians, and are predominantly democrats. Add to that, NY and CA have GREAT democratic governors that make him look like a pathetic wannabe, WHINER president.

People are eager to help divide and conquer.

Although I understand the logic to point fingers at New Yorkers, as they say, "the road to hell is paved with good intentions".

Floridians should be FAR more worried about the spring breakers, ESPECIALLY the ones fresh from Mardi Gras. Far greater numbers, and living on the assumption that nothing can hurt them. That is about to change, as they go back and infect their home towns and grandma and granddad. And, come Easter, if the turd has his way, EVERYONE ELSE.

Like to see how the Gov is going to do with it since he wouldn't close the beaches until the local communities did.

FL will probably get really bad due to that retarded trumpist creep - DeSantis. Pisses me off so bad that he waited to close FL beaches until the day after spring break - and that he won't order a full shutdown for all non-essential businesses. I doubt drumpf will let things get as bad here as in NY without giving help because he lives here and because the state has shown that it voted red in national elections. Well, it shows repugs steal the vote here all the time and have total control of our state. I really worry more about the people in blue states because I think he is hurting them on purpose.

Numerous other areas have network affiliates like Gainseville and Ocala, Melbourne, etc.

My real concern is if he eases up on the restrictions he has put in - so he can look good for his IMPOTUS god. I teach water aerobics at a local gym. I'm not going back until it's really safe to do so. My students are all senior citizens and many are in compromised health.

Starting with the "appointing"of WBUSH, a bunch of Republican mayors and governors and Senators.

Their is something to be said for the old trite adages: "You grew it, you chew it..." & "Karma's a Bitch"

I was also somewhat sympathetic for New Orleans, until she showed that they didn't cancel mardi gras which had a MILLION drunken people shoulder to shoulder for days on end, most who left there and returned to their communities all over the U.S.

1800 people willfully attended and with malice toward all.

A Louisiana church hosted more than 1,800 people at its Sunday morning service. WVLA in Baton Rouge says that 26 buses were used to pick people up from around the Baton Rouge area to take them to church.

Whether you are able to muster sympathy for us or not, there are some of us that DID NOT vote for Bush, Trump or DeSantis and it is adding insult to injury to be judged with those who did.

We all get along well and that is because we have agreed not to talk politics with each other, but they are all republicans so I don't think they are taking this as seriously as they should. I wish the state would impose stricter standards. You know that most of these elderly people are not going to isolate themselves if they aren't force to. I can only hope for the best.
