In a rational world, there should be not conflict in discussions between you and your brother even if you're attached to different parties. Up until around the time of Nixon, Democrats and Republicans got along and could have friendly debates, or at least where I was raised.
Some extremely nasty right-wing operatives realized if they ever wanted to achieve significant power, they would have to create chasms between numerous groups of people in America....therefore divide and conquer. That's what they've done over the last 50 or so years and now it's come down to families and neighbors not even speaking. We have truth on our side..........

It breaks my heart I don't have more to give to charities right now, like I could before retirement. There's a vast amount of need around the world now, with so much suffering. Plus, we have a multitude of Democratic campaigns that need help.
I appreciate your encouraging, positive words........

Capital One lowers my minimum payment. It's really hard right now. I guess I need to apply for food stamps, but I don't have a mask, and I'm afraid to sit in the office because both my sisters and my client are super high risk. We're isolating... I have some tough decisions to make by the end of this week. We'll be okay, just have to keep telling ourselves that. Take care.
