If a business owner re-opens his or her business and recalls employees into a

work environment that exposes them to coronavirus and some do get sick or die, does the owner have any legal liability for the intentional exposure and resulting loss?

Forcing employees to work in an "unsafe or unhealthful" workplace would seem to violate OSHA.

6. Sure Seems Likely

I'll trust your expertise, especially since I thought they would be. Might just be confirmation bias, but I studied business law in MBA school, so I'm not an undereducated guesser.
Glad to know I was on the right train.

2. They should talk to their lawyers, workers' comp and liability insurers first.

I'm pretty sure I know what the answers are likely to be.

4. It's a violation of OSHA standards. I think Trump rolled back OSHA protections a few years ago.

He was and is so busy cutting and rolling back all things Obama, he was putting people in serious danger cause he hates Obama.

7. I doubt it.

That sounds like a “novel” theory of recovery to me. I don’t think it would go far in any of the Courts in which I have practiced.

8. I live in North Texas and know a dozen of people who's bosses are writing them notes in case...

They get pulled over, stating they are essential employees, even though they are not...

9. For schools too

All schools should be closed for this year completely by this government, and they should be hiring people to disinfect them all before allowing children to return . Many out of work could be used now to help get this done, and get people working, but protected and watched over.
