Beer supply robust
You can keep your bread and pasta, I'm happy the beer supply is robust. I know a buddy that bought 14 cases. If I'm working from home I need 5-8 daily. Over months of death, destruction, rationing and economic collapse, a cold beer will be a treat

1. I stocked up on wine and cat food (priorities)
Don’t care about bread and pasta and canned soup. I never eat those things anyway. My local store had plenty of produce and meat. I just finished cooking shrimp, steaks and chicken.
And I just happened to have enough toilet paper, soap, and Lysol wipes cause I stocked up on those about a month ago because I had relatives coming for a visit (all have gone home now.) |

3. I was actually surprised by that.
I haven't been drinking much lately, particularly beer. It's gotten really pricey lately, which is just as well, because I'm trying to cut back on empty calories. But, Guinness stout is on sale, and it's approaching St. Patrick's Day, so I decided that I'd splurge, should there be any left in the grocery store. There was plenty of it available. Usually, when somethings coming down the pike that requires hunkering down, like pending snow, everyone here stocks up on bread, milk and beer. Not this time, it seems. I guess folks spent all their beer money on toilet paper?

4. Not a roll of toilet paper or loaf of bread in sight but
But the beer aisle was well stocked at the store today. Bread in a can as I call it.
