Black Female Mormon Teaparty Candidate for a Utah House seat ...

Mia Love, was just on Fox's Chris Matthews Show. IMHO, she did okay ... for a Black Female Mormon Teaparty Candidate for a Utah House seat ... until Chris asked her what she thought about Washington. She listed high gas prices, stagnated wages, high employment and a couple other things; but ... NONE OF THE PROBLEMS SHE MENTIONED ARE RELATED TO WASHINGTON ... especially, if viewed from the teaparty/conservative prism. Everything she mentioned is in the direct control of the private sector.

Maybe she didn't hear the question clearly?

government is the worst entity in the world and needs to be destroyed?

Oh, I get it. Like all conservatives, she wants to "serve" in government by monkeywrenching and internal sabotage.

And that is just a mild example.

You must be clearly out of your mind. I find myself wanting to insert their ignorant asses right into the middle of a full blown teabag rally and see how welcomed they will be.

It was actually really good, and had some great speakers with it, including Gladys Knight herself.

I'm not Mormon, but I'm always polite to the missionaries, frequently chat with them and offer them water. They offered me tickets, and I'm glad I went.

14. Mia Love Is Not Qualified

She has been a mayor for a small community in Saratoga Springs. She talks tough, but she is not very experienced and quite frankly, is caught up in the moment since McCain & Condi Rice have been to UT to fundraise for her.

She is talking tough about cutting just about every government aide that has helped her get to where she is. From student grants to disaster relief for the little town she is a mayor. She is exactly what the Tea Party wants to send to Congress to oust the incumbent Democrat who has been there for years and become the first female African American Republican in Congress.

If elected, she would not work for her constituents in her state, but would add to more obstruction against President Obama. She is not qualified for the job even if she weren't a Tea Party obstructionist. Just not enough experience or evidence that she is sincere in representing the state and her constituents. Her speech at the RNC was just a lot of loud screaming. I suppose to show how tough she is. Pretty pathetic

I call bullshit. They may not have gotten Gov'ment help but someone helped those people. Or she is lying about the $10 bucks. Unles they had 10 in the pocket and a million in a bank account somewhere

get sponsorship and/or support from the Mormon Church.

Mia Love's parents imigrated to the U.S. in 1973 ... which was a time when U.S. imigration policy was particularly hostile toward Haitians. (Just about) The only way a (poor) Haitian could legally immigrate (or stay after illegally immigrating) was to have a solid sponsor.
