CoronaVirus Study Published in the Lancet

Last edited Wed Mar 4, 2020, 01:48 PM - Edit history (3)

In this 1/29/2020 study report we learn some incredible details of the disease & treatment protocols for 99 coronavirus cases.

Call me nerdy, but I like to hear from scientists published in the Lancet.

“Epidemiological and clinical characteristics of 99 cases of 2019 novel coronavirus pneumonia in Wuhan, China: a descriptive study”

https://www.thelancet.com/action/showPdf?pii=S0140-6736%2820%2930211-7

Link to above study found at end of this American College of Cardiologists article

“Cardiac Implications of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)”

The Lancet has lots of free access Covid-19 articles worthy of perusal.

These articles help fill Trump’s information Blackout

My simplified takeaway:

✨ Highly contagious

✨ Men at greater risk

❤️ Heart disease at highest risk of serious outcomes

🆘. US citizens being kept in the dark

I’m high risk and have self-isolated with lots of art supplies, books, food, water & heart meds, Hulu Netflix Prime YouTube Reupped Cable News & Jax the eternal 10 year old puppyfied Jack Russell 🐶

Fresh veggies delivered which I bath with tiny titch of bleach, scrub & thoroughly rinse before blanching in boiling water for 3 minutes. Peeled fresh foods the safest.

Be smart, be informed, and please be safe.

Love sparkles for all 🤩😍

✨❤️✨❤️✨❤️✨❤️✨❤️✨❤️✨❤️✨❤️✨

1. A little bit ago, I was left dumbfounded by someone

who demanded proof the virus was highly contagious while carriers were asymptomatic..US citizens in the dark, indeed.

2. Some fear facts.

I fear ignorance of facts. Hence two weeks of research before finding empirical scientific evidence to date.

We elder higher risk demographic need this information. Shame Trump Et Al

8. Unfortunately yes..but the fact the keep leaning on that narrative

is appalling. A few that have died in WA were men in their 40's and 50's. A lady on Twitter was like, you know the elderly and those with pre existing conditions can hear you. I agree 100 percent.

3. The link in the op takes me to a Lancet site that says Page Not Found. However, it is a Lancet page

with all the Lancet internal links so I called up their Global Health info. see link here*

No criticism...Thanks!

6. Well, it was only a partial link failure since it did take me to The Lancet site. These things

happen. I've even been known to search for information if my interest was piqued... And thanks for the
cardiac info. That's good for me since I don't have heart problems!

9. Thank you for posting this very informative PDF.

We need to remind ourselves that little thorough scientific research has been done on this virus because it's quite new to science. Therefore, much of what info we're seeing is speculation or "best guesses", particularly regarding the efficacy and lifetime on surfaces, what cleaning products can kill it and even data on how it spreads.

Hoping to see many more thorough publications soon, with translation into usable info for public education.

KY..........

10. very informative article

also explain how first 99 people that got infected 47 of them are sales reps of the wuhan seafood market with long term exposure, so the conspiracy of "virus walked out of the lab" is false .

Iam a sales rep for a company that sales food to restaurants...I get to have contact with more than 100 people per day ...on a slow day
