Trump's border "wall."
This is a good example of how Trump and Republicans control the MSM narrative.
I just read the article about how the ACLU is going after Trump's diversion of money that is being used for his border wall. Why the fuck is everyone calling it a wall? It is a fence. I would think that at least Democrats can call what Trump's hateful barrier really is, a fence. It doesn't sound so appealing when billions of taxpayer dollars are being spent for a fence. Just something that has been annoying me and I had to get off my chest.

1. "a great big beautiful wall"
I may not have imagined the ice wall of westeros or even the great wall of china, but this is just a very expensive fence.
trump cultists are not even disappointed, and most believe the damn thing has already been built. |

2. Given how the 'wall' has fared ...
... against wind, climbers, and electric saws, it should really be known as Trump's Collapsible, Scalable, Easily-Removable, Mexico-Didn't-Pay-For-It Fence*

3. Well yeah, I agree, well said,
but fence is a little bit easier to say.
I mean if my 4 year old grandson told me that mommy got a new truck and it was really a car, I wouldn't pretend that he was right, I would correct him. We are grown ups who should know the difference between a wall and a fence. |

4. I like to bring up the free border wall from time to time with my Republican buddies
...just for the tap-dancing that ensues. The shuffles, the waltzing, the flourishes...it's beautiful to watch!

5. Every time I am reminded of that stupid, ridiculous, money-pit, joke of a "wall",
I just want to scream. It is nothing more than a vanity project for him that will do NOTHING to solve any problem we have with immigration in this country and it is just siphoning off funds from other areas of the budget where that money is desperately needed. It makes me furious!

6. Everyone suspects that
Trump and some of his new found pals are most likely profiting handsomely from building this fence. That's the reason I think he wanted concrete in the beginning, it was more money and ergo, more profit.

8. We need to call it what it is: a monument to hate
It is a physical symbol of racism and xenophobia, built by a sociopath to exploit the prejudices of his ignorant, bigoted deplorable cultists for his own gain.
