terms, time to act to help this nation and the world- a tall order. It's past time to lose the Red Scare business as well.

as 'socialism' is quite threatening to plenty of people believe it. For example MSNBC commenter Donny Deutsch shouted on Bill Maher's show last fall, 'We're going backwards, Denmark!!' if he can't buy the kind of insurance he wants, or something...https://www.commondreams.org/views/2019/11/01/dear-mr-donny-deutsch-please-come-fing-denmark

Socialism with social democracy. The extremes game never plays well in swaying peoples hearts and minds. They both tend to dig in and support the nonsense of both.

Don't think a poll is a good insight into the human psyche. Observing is more accurate. It's going to be a viscous election and our side will probably cannibalize the best. We seem to have a taste for our own.

A third of the people in the U.S.A. are Nazis.

The only reason they fought on the side of the U.S.A. in World War II is because they hated the Japanese and didn't understand German.

The only reason they have any power today is because they cheat, lie, and steal. Yet many of us still think it's impolite or something to call them on it.

I'm sorry, if anyone still supports Trump, if they are still some kind of "Christian" fascist, then they need crawl back into the hole they slithered out of.

That the underlying threat that is leading to Fascism is capitalism as it is practiced today. I am noting that without resorting to naming any system to counter that because it simply speaks for itself.

The call is coming from inside the house, (old movie reference). The threat is internal and systemic and has been for a long time. When you see the kinds of reactions to alternatives that are fueled by the numerous, well-funded think tanks and organizations that are the actual gate keepers for our current system, the impetus stands out. We may see that the GOP is branch of what could be called an already extant, pervasive oligarchy, but that is only superficial view with an immense, underlying infrastructure designed to preserve wealth and power. What, they are going to let us change that, especially when much of the workings and machinations are far more subtle than our mainstream perspective?

I just wanted to qualify my vote in the poll.
