NC-SEN: VoteVets go in big for Cunningham
The VoteVets super PAC is going in big for Cunningham, ahead of next month's primary. “VoteVets, which has endorsed Cunningham, is spending $2.5 million on a new ad campaign launching Friday and running for two weeks, according to information shared first” with Campaign Pro’s James Arkin (for Pros). “The new ad — which comes on top of the $3.3 million the group's affiliated nonprofit organization has already spent — focuses on health care”. This follows a different super PAC — Faith and Power PAC — with apparent associations to Republicans dropping a significant buy to boost state Sen. Erica Smith, who is also running in the primary.
