I think we have three choices we can make in 2020.

1. Work our asses off to create the largest turnout in history of Democratic voters and just flat throw the GOOPers out of office.

2. Do nothing much and let the Republicans and Putin take total control and turn the nation into a dictatorship.

3. Engage in a massive revolutionary revolt and have a few years of total anarchy.

Let's see:

If we do number 3, millions of people will die and we won't get any of the things we want.

If we do number 2, well, that will make Trump and Putin very, very happy.

If, however, we do number 1, there's a pretty good chance we can turn things around and get back to making progress.

1. By the way, if you're thinking that we need to do other things,

like getting rid of the Electoral College or change the way the Senate is set up, there are the same three ways we have to do those things, too. Because all of that crap depends on amending the Constitution, and for that we need control of both houses of congress and most of the state legislatures, along with a Democratic President.

So, none of those other cool ideas are possible unless we do one of the three options I laid out, and only two of them even have a possibility of making the changes we would like to see. Really, only #1 would really work, because nothing nice happens during a real revolution.
