Mitch McConnell has always been suspiciously supportive of unlimited amounts of money in politics.

1. Having watched the asshole for many years, I've always said....

if one had the resources and determination to do so, one could dig up some might fertile dirt on McConnell considering his past associations with big tobacco, big alcohol, big coal and big healthcare. In the past, he's stayed under the radar.

He's been a teflon don for far too long.......

2. Their view of money in politics may be changing now

Mike Bloomberg is giving them fits. We are now talking about real money and real billionaires. Win or not he has found a legal way for him to over the limit.

Oh yeah, and dirty Chinese* money in the guise of "personal gifts" supposedly from his in-laws, to the tune of about $30,000,000.
