Trump Fumigated Mar-a-Lago After HIV+ Roy Cohn Visited, Book Claims

A new book claims that Donald Trump had Mar-a-Lago fumigated after Roy Cohn, who later died from HIV-related complications, visited the luxury resort.

The Fixers, by journalists Joe Palazzolo and Michael Rothfeld, recounts the relationship between President Trump and a number of his "fixers," per Newsweek. Among these was Cohn, a controversial attorney who represented everyone from celebrities to mob bosses, including, at one point, Trump. Cohn was also the lead attorney for Senator Joseph McCarthy when McCarthy initiated the Red Scare, accusing many notables of being Communists, often ruining their lives in the process.

Though known for publicly outing government employees in the LGBTQ community, Cohn’s "homosexuality and promiscuity were an open secret," according to the book. After Cohn took on Trump as a client, the much-feared attorney turned his client into his protégé, schooling him in the art of lies and smears. Cohn ultimately died from AIDS in 1986, while publicly declaring he was battling liver cancer.

Shortly before Cohn’s death, Trump hosted “what seemed like a farewell dinner at Mar-a-Lago” for guests to pay “tribute to the dying lawyer.”

1. An important note

Trump dissed his mentor and did not attend Cohn's funeral. It was kind of a Sith Lord/Apprentice relationship, I guess.

Trump is a scumbag from start to finish.

So was Cohn.

3. "Donald pisses ice water"

By 1985, Cohn was seriously ill—“I have liver cancer,” he contended—and he started calling in his last markers. He phoned New York Times columnist William Safire, whom he’d known since Safire’s days as a publicist. And, sure enough, Safire ran a piece attacking the “buzzards of the bar” who had “dredged up” fraud charges to get even with Cohn, “[the] hard-hitting anti-legal-establishment right-winger at a time when he is physically unable to defend himself.” Roger Stone would recall Trump phoning him and asking, “ ‘Have you seen Bill Safire’s column?’ He called me to point it out to me. He said, ‘This is going to be terrific for Roy.’ “

Cohn also had asked a favor of Trump: Could he give him a hotel room for his lover, who was dying of AIDS? A room was found in the Barbizon Plaza Hotel. Months passed. Then Cohn got the bill. Then another. He refused to pay. At some point, according to The New York Times’s Jonathan Mahler and Matt Flegenheimer, Trump would present Cohn with a thank-you gift for a decade of favors: a pair of diamond cuff links. The diamonds turned out to be fakes.

Tensions between the two became progressively strained. And the dying Cohn, as Barrett would describe him in those waning days, would say, “Donald pisses ice water.”

8. Check out this photo of MF45's parents from the article.

Is he the spitting image of his mother or what? The mouth is a little different, but the more he ages, the more he looks like her. Imagine her without the glasses. He is the male version of her.

12. Oh yes, he does look like her

but he got his father's bizarre eyebrows.

Maybe Trump's peculiar hairstyle is a subconscious attempt to look like Mommy.

13. I would really

like to know how his mother treated him? She looks like she takes no crap, very strict looking. Maybe that is why he is fucked up, his parents set him off to Military school, to straighten out his ass. Looks like it did not.

14. For some time now I've figured

that Trump has some major mommy issues. I used to think it was a daddy thing like GW Bush, but after watching him these past few years, I'm more inclined to think it was his mother who may have screwed him up or at least contributed to the mess he is. He really has problems with strong women and appears uncomfortable and intimidated by them. I think I've only heard him mention his mother once and that was about her Thanksgiving cooking.

When Trump says nasty things about other people, I picture his mother saying them to him "you're a disaster", "disgraceful", "low IQ", etc.

15. Also

he has a very low opinion of women, he intimidates and treats women as sexual objects. He has no core of humanity, and I'm tired of his cruelty of other people and his constant lies and the hate he projects.

I am hoping all that he has spewed over the last 3 years the lies, corruptness, and his vile actions to our allies and our environment will fall upon him so hard. He is not immune to justice.

16. I agree

It is absolutely insane that one man can get away with so much, for so long and he's not even very good at any of it. How such a crude, incompetent man can bully and intimidate so many people is beyond comprehension.

I wish the man a long life and that he gets everything he deserves 100 fold. It has to be a long life for him to experience all he has coming.

19. Even the hair tricks are the same.

Comb this section towards the back, but cover it with a side layered over the top/front.

Same with his protege, Rump.

6. Oh my,living in Wisconsin

we had to tolerate Tail Gunner Joe McCarthy, knowing many in my area whom served with this fake. Funny thing, when Joe was Hospitalized for some type of Illness. We in Wisconsin were told it was Liver Cancer. As the Old Man said at the time, yah right, they sure as hell won't have to waste any Embalming Fluid on him.

it may need to be condemned to get rid of the evil and ignorance left behind. Not to mention any decorating Melanie did.

The sooner, the better.
