I find it endlessly amusing that the "Militias" that show up at 2nd Amendment rallies

think they can take on a "tyrannical" government.

Do they not realize that the National Guard or even the local police have something they don't, something they have no defense or counter to? That being C&C, command and control? Without C&C they're not a militia but just a bunch of wannabes running around the woods with guns?

Do they not know that when they launch their "rebellion" the concept of posse comatatus goes out the window so they get to go up against the full force of the military industrial complex, a complex with the most advanced toys designed to deal with real threats?

Do they not know that a drone five miles away at 30,000 feet can find a cellphone and place a Hellfire missile within 30 feet of it at 1.3 times the speed of sound? Even if the phone isn't being used at the time? And if the 70 foot casualty radius of a Hellfire isn't enough a Blackhawk launched Paveway extends the casualty radius (50% dead, 50% injured) to 300 feet?

Do they not realize that the only effective resistance to the government is their VOTE? And when more of the citizens vote to challenge their supposed 2nd Amendment rights "their resistance is futile"?

If he and his company own that monster, that looks like it represents a significant chunk of change there. It seems that having a big audience of paranoid, easy to convince followers who don't investigate or analyze the information he slings is a very lucrative business now. He sells woo stuff, (I am not anti-alternative) on his site and show which is a good venue since he works the audience up like a TV preacher and the products are like passing the collection plate.

Jones' rabble rousing does little to "spread the truth" or even bring about any positive change for the rest of us, (I have observed him since the 10s. When he first started out, it was just interesting, alternative ideas. Now, it is a will to power that I don't even think he can control, because, like Trump, he has been playing a character that demands its due. His success, to me, over the last twenty-years or so, has brought out the worst in him and the will to power seems to be irresistible now.

It is also interesting how the Truther Industrial Complex has become a big money maker, (well, with manipulation of news now as manipulation of the audience, of course) when it was just some very odd and interesting, (maybe potential) information outside of the mainstream.

Jones is right up there with Coulter, Maher, Limbough, Trump, and the rest, who are good at wearing a finely crafted facade that is designed to keep them relevant and manipulate the beholders of The Spectacle. It's an acting career with sinister implications. I think there should be an award show for those types, but then, that would be telling.

The magazine stand literally had like 15 different magazines that were gun related and even a magazine about doomsday prepping thrown for good measure. One of them was a magazine called "Combat Handguns" that had an article on "the dangers of red flag laws". Like really? And I wonder how many people who think that are going to see actual combat?

I really want to know how super far right gun nuts think and operate. Because I think understanding them is the key to beating them.

You're right, when stripped of their guns, they are cowards. When someone sent me off to search for her poopypants video, I saw a clip where gun girl bragged that a woman threatened to slap her until she pointed out that she went everywhere with an assault rifle. It seems that the capacity to not think things through, even in the slightest, is not there for some. This is similar to being inebriated to the degree that one acts on impulse alone and in a fog of war.

Oh, I know there are infinite variables and many potential outcomes from prognostication and forethought, but without that, it is like throwing darts without having a target. You can put an eye out.

There are many occasions where we don't think things through and many tend to suspend that faculty. In the case of your OP subject, that seems to be the case. Perhaps, in an ordinary sense, that is a sort of a conceptual fulcrum between order and chaos, relatively speaking.

I agree with the points you made and have similar thoughts about the brouhaha of promiscuous gun toters and their projection of fear and anger towards their fellow Americans. In most cases, they are projecting an apocalyptic world that exists only in their minds and circles. When apocalypse is now, it will be self-evident.

Their second amendment reason for having guns is outdated and useless. So, the one thing they can do with their guns is kill innocent civilians. the National Guard, they would last about half an hour before they dropped their guns and vanished, and most of it would be posturing;

the regular Army, probably about the same;

the Marines, maybe fifteen minutes.

Now you get a couple of Cobras flying overhead at the start of the encounter, I would say that most of them would need a change of underwear.

IMHO, they're doing all this to show off, but hoping they never get put on the spot.

Sadly, and I really hate to say this, but, from what I've seen over the years, my feeling is that more people would get hurt if SWAT teams got involved.

First question:

Ok, so your day finally arrives, and it's time for the gun nuts to take up arms against the American government. SO: who gets the first bullet? An American soldier? An American cop? Or just an American citizen who disagrees with you? Spell it out. Because all us non-gun-nut Americans would like to know.

Second question:

Since you are defining yourselves as a "militia", what does the Constitution mean when it **literally states** that the militia is to be "well regulated"? As in: verbatim. Again, spell it out for us non-gun-nut Americans.
