5. Pelosi was smart to release this the way she has
This is evidence. She’s releasing it without much fanfare, that allows the public to see it without it being spun. It also allows GOP Senators to see it before they’re given their part marching orders.

18. It gets murkier in my mind
These guys including Trump must have been jockeying to get in on some very big bucks. Did I read it was about natural gas, or energy of some form?
And, why exactly did they do it this way? Presidents have fired Ambassadors before. They order a return to Washington and replace them with a new nominee. Other than this Ambassador's solid reputation and desire to remain in her job, she left because a patriot at home tipped her off about security problems for her, she was in danger.. WHY did they go this route, stalking, possible threats. Why not just replace her by ordinary means? Is it me, or is this making as little sense to you too? |

30. Trump is extremely vindictive if he thinks someone crosses him even a tiny bit,
and he had been (falsely) informed that the ambassador was badmouthing him and working against him.
To Trump, that would deserve major retribution--logic be damned. |

32. bucolic, yes, getting their paws on some nat gas $$ undoubtably drove these losers forward
(sup, Rick Perry) - but I think the reason LOSER45 didn’t just quietly replace Amb Yovanovich is because he’s a vindictive weeny whining little mobster wannabe motherfucker...guess what, she didn’t like him, and apparently that wasn’t a huge secret...
Here’s some background on Pete Sessions, which includes info on Yovanovich: October 10, 2019: ... Sessions had reportedly met with Parnas and Fruman to discuss Yovanovitch. Sessions was advocating for Yovanovitch's removal in part because of allegations that she had criticized Trump and was disloyal. Sessions has not been charged with wrongdoing.
Sessions told BuzzFeed in July that he raised Yovanovitch in the meeting, not Parnas and Fruman. "I sought their input," he said. Other Republicans were aware of Sessions' effort. Rep. Mark Meadows on Thursday cited Sessions when asked by CNN whether he had any concerns about Yovanovitch's removal. Meadows, a North Carolina Republican, had not read the indictment and was unaware Sessions was cited...
https://www.cnn.com/2019/10/10/politics/pete-sessions-indictment-giuliani-associates/index.html ...this is my best guess! Also, I sincerely hope that Sessions goes through some things for his part in this disgusting plot ![]() |

38. They're all connected! And 3 witnesses will expose more of the iceberg
and prompt the call for more witnesses. What's uncovered may well spawn more investigations. I don't see how they get through this in 2 weeks unless McConnell manages to shut it all down at some point.

Pompeii was an overstuffed, bloated volcano that one day in 79 CE just exploded from all the pressure it was under. More of a rupture than a Rapture, I guess.
