Seven Stunning New Pieces of Impeachment Evidence

https://www.alternet.org/2020/01/here-are-7-stunning-new-pieces-of-impeachment-evidence-just-released-by-the-house/amp/?__twitter_impression=true|

1. Rudy Giuliani told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky he’s working with Trump’s “knowledge and consent.
2. In the same letter, Giuliani says he is acting in his “capacity as personal counsel to President Trump.”
3. Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow gave John Dowd, another attorney, permission from the president to defend Igor Furman and Lev Parnas, two of Giuliani’s associates who have been indicted on campaign finance charges, in part, for their Ukraine-related work.
4. Parnas wrote notes on Ritz-Carlton stationery suggesting he was directly involved with the Ukraine scheme.
5. Parnas texted with a man named Robert F. Hyde, believed to be the same person who is running for a House seat in Connecticut, about removing former Ukraine Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch.
6. Parnas was also communicating with Ukrainian officials which, Schiff argued, demonstrated “that Mr. Parnas served as a direct channel between President Trump’s agent, Mr. Giuliani, and individuals close to President Volodymyr Zelensky.”
7. Giuliani tried to get a visa approved for a disgraced former Ukrainian prosecutor.

3. Sekulow is on Trump's impeachment team.

It would be interesting if Trump's personal attorney got subpoenaed and had to plead the fifth not to incriminate himself.

7. If he is subpoenaed as a witness

then he can't be Trump's attorney. One can't be an attorney in a case in which they are a witness. Very basic rule.

9. Yep, I know.

I just think it would be funny if a member of the team had to drop out because he was subpoenaed, especially Trump's personal lawyer.

11. It would be beyond funny

It would be a good strategy to throw the whole team in disarray.

18. You know the Republicans would then

subpoena Schiff, right? Please understand, I recognize it would be heavy-duty BS, but DJT said he would like having witnesses if they were VP Biden, Hunter Biden and Schiff.

19. Sekelow was directly involved. Schiff was not.

I don't really see the comparison. Sekelow was mentioned in the new docs, so it would be natural for him to be subpoenaed.

From the OP:

3. Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow gave John Dowd, another attorney, permission from the president to defend Igor Furman and Lev Parnas, two of Giuliani’s associates who have been indicted on campaign finance charges, in part, for their Ukraine-related work.

24. In a logical, just world, I would not be concerned that Schiff would be targeted.

I absolutely see the reasoning that Sekulow should be subpoenaed based on this new information. Schiff, of course, should not be. Agreed.

It’s just that we seem to be operating outside the law and logic. It’s this statement by DJT that unsettled me:

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/trump-impeachment-inquiry/trump-would-support-witnesses-testifying-senate-trial-if-bidens-were-n1113061

Maybe his impulse would be checked by others. Too often that’s not the case. That’s why it occurred to me.

Wasn't he a Putin plant from the beginning?

Once again, aiding and abetting the enemy!

And I guess we can believe IMPotus when he says he knew of imminent Embassy attacks - because he was ordering them...

17. ...tRump didn't say he'd pay for their lawyer...

..... he just agreed to let his lawyer Dowd represent them. Of course, by
doing that, he may have waived certain conflicts of interest, attorney-client privilege
and other protections.

22. Robert Hyde has apparently said "Yeah I did that"

“How low can liddle Adam Bull Schiff go. To take some texts my buddy’s and I wrote while we had a few drinks to some dweeb I met a few times.... Bull Schiff is a desperate turd.”

If this is true, Hyde's basically telling the world to try and stop him while setting up "I wuz drunk" as an out.
Given his history as a loud stupid garbage human, I can see this being legit.
He even mirrors Generalissimo Corpulente's childish rhetoric.

he is over the edge, probably even a physical danger to Trump as well at this point. His delusional thinking could take him anywhere really fast.
