Trump & GOP spent $1,000,000,000,000 more than the US collected in taxes during 2019

@PatrioticDan
Trump & GOP spent $1,000,000,000,000 more than the US collected in taxes during 2019.
Of course, they also cut taxes for the rich and corporations by $1,500,000,000,000; while adding $2T to the national debt

Was he REALLY a business man?
Or just a money laundering mobster?

CNBC
@CNBC
US budget deficit topped $1 trillion in 2019 for the first time in seven years

1. The US government

on your behalf... ran up an ADDITIONAL debt of $3,225 for every person (including children), raising the total amount OWED to around $67,000 for every person in the US.

I don't think many of us have unsecured debt of anywhere near $67K... or any way to pay it back.

4. So, we basically got charged 5% interest on the $63,775 we already owed?

That doesn't really seem SOOO outrageous ... just sayin'.

Not all that different from a home loan, for example.

Also, this really isn't an unsecured loan ... being it's $$$ loaned to the US Government. If it was, that'd be a REALLY good APR.

3. Considering Democrats control the House, which has Constitutional responsibility for the Budget

Trump has an easy way to weasel out of accepting responsibility for this.

And a shit-ton of knuckle-dragging and/or under-informed voters will take his word for it ... apparently believing Trump/GOP in 2017 just HAD to give Corporations a $1.5T tax cut, cause, like 'job-creators' or something. They also have 'Tax and Spend Dems' etched into their brains from 40 years of successful RW framing.

There's also fact that the US has run massive deficits for like ... all but a few years near the turn of the century.
