Bloomberg's comment about spending a billion to defeat T: another way to use part of it

Okay, so I got a ginormous bug up my rear end yesterday.

Just now I logged onto Bloomberg's site to send him an email, but there's no place to do so. Apparently he doesn't want to hear from us -- he just wants us to sign up and follow his lead. Seems to be the thing with politicians nowadays, unless you happen to be a giga-donor.

In any case, what I was going to suggest to him is that he use a (small) part of that billion to do something a little different. Right now T is getting all the press time and all the blame, while people who have been enabling him all this time are somehow flying under the radar and getting very little notice. One of them is Hannity.

I think Bloomberg should use part of that billion to start a campaign -- full-page ads in major papers, as well as online and TV spots -- to get people to boycott Hannity's advertisers. Sure it's all about the ratings and paying for commercials, and so on and on, but in a very real sense his advertisers are enabling what Hannity is doing and therefore what T is doing.

If Hannity has the Constitutional right to call out people for bullshit and encourage them to enable T to destroy this nation, then the rest of us have a Constitutional right to call him out for it. Boycott his advertisers and Fox will see the revenues begin to drop.

It's all about money.

an existential threat to our democracy, our security and the world's security. There are thousands of people working overtime to get rid of #TraitorTrump. Bloomberg has a staff of 800. Of course they're doing voter registration. They're probably providing funding for some of the legal cases. They're probably working on turning the senate HARD blue. You and me? We don't need to know what they're doing. We just need to know that Mike Bloomberg is willing to spend a BILLION dollars to get the most dangerous and vicious individual ever to occupy the White House OUT of the White House.

Bragging about his ability to run a campaign without accepting donations is just flashing an open wallet. I understand the freedom that comes with his multi billionaire status, but it certainly doesn’t give me a reason to vote for him.

I agree with the first response to this post. He would do well to use his wealth to help GOTV.

but I'm not on Twitter or any other social media platform. Don't have a clue how to use them. Never needed them.

Might be time to reconsider?

Hannity is a tool, in more ways than one. Bloomberg would just be wasting money on whack-a-mole mouthpiece.
