Don't want to be a soggy mop here BUT Romney and Super-pacs pulling out of serveral states
Doesn't that make anyone wonder what the HELL is going on?
I mean today we see ads --bascially money being pulled from PA, OH, MI, and WI. The election is basically 6 weeks--2 months away today and Romney and the GOP super-Pacs supposely raise all this money. It does make one who likes to think wonder. Does this have anything to do with the cyber ransom? IS this Ransom the reason why Romney is "Taking a Vacation" from the Campaign. Remember Monday how the press pull was excused than called back to cover Romney driving a boat? Believe it or not I do want to see Obama win but this makes this person who likes to think wondering what is going on. SORRY FOR MIS-TYPING

10. Romney's polling #'s are most likely not going to improve in Michigan and Penn.
But the Gop Pacs have not pulled out from Ohio or Wisconsin yet. Romney has a ton of money but I doubt he will spend it where he thinks he can't win. PA and Mich have gone blue for awhile now anyway. Ohio #'s are not looking that great for him either. I don't believe in any conspiracies, it is just simple campaign logic. Spend money where it counts.

This would essentially constitute conceding an election two months before it happens. No way would a campaign do so this early, even if they were looking at a potential landslide; to do so in a race thai remains practically tied is madness. The only way this makes sense is if it is either a temporary pullback before returning with a new set of ads, or they've got a new SuperPAC that's going to handle all the ads in those states for them.

Rmoney's internal polling numbers are very bad and trending worse in at least some of those states. Every national campaign makes its decisions regarding allocation of funds on the basis of internal numbers, not public polls in the media.
This is a definite retreat, and it looks like a retreat designed to stave off total disaster rather than for strategic reasons. |
