Iran conflict WILL NOT help Trump

Any retaliatory military action after 9/11 was going to help Bush. Americans were pissed, United and ready ( valid or not). This is totally diffrent and you will not see unity as you did on 9/11 when most Americans felt personally attacked. I can't imagine being advised that this was a politically smart move

...to not be drawn into Trump’s game by responding in a way that makes the average American feel personally threatened, such as by staging an attack on U.S. soil.
