FOX NEWS, 54% want Trump impeached, 41% opposed

I know it's been posted already, but it needs to be repeated, 54-41 is a huge plurality considering the divisions in the country. And it means that some Trump voters want him impeached.

1. Ha! A Fox News poll is showing this? Cue the Trump Twitter tantrum

This should be good.

4. What's funny is the data was buried

The FOX Headline was Impeachment poll remains the same, Trump's approval creeps up. Impeachment went up a point, you can bet on it that if it had gone down a point their headline would have been, "Support for Impeachment waning!"

I just think this is important to remember, the media's narrative that impeachment is failing politically is not supported by the facts.

5. 50% for impeachment and removal

That is the key, you are right. It means that to win next year, he's going to have to convince people who thought he should be removed to vote for him.

6. Whenever I see polls like this I'm cheered even further by thinking about...

... the number of people who don't want him impeached because they'd prefer that he be voted out of office.

8. There are those who don't vote for "impeach and remove" who...

... think we should wait to remove him by voting him out. That used to be a largish group.

But, then, I suppose there are those in the "impeach" group who want him out so they can vote for Pence, or some other Republican replacement.

9. FOX News Polls are what Democrats like to see.

Because they validate Democratic Party wishes. They show that 50% of voters want Trump impeached and removed while 54% believe he should be impeached only.

But maybe we should take all these polls with a grain of salt? We can all remember the polls before the last election.

10. only 36% wanted Prez Clinton impeached

How Republikkkans vs Dems react to polls.....

In 1999 only 36% wanted Clinton impeached. Did that slow down the Repubs pursuit of impeachment? NO!

In 2019 over 50% DO want Trump impeached. Does that slow down the Dems? Of course!

Get a backbone!
