Business accountant peddles false healthcare facts to my friend, a small business owner.

He read in his accountant's newsletter that he would have to pay a $2000 penalty if he did not provide coverage for his employees. Of course, this is not true. There is no employer mandate for less than 51 full time employees. In fact there is a tax credit of 35% and in 2014 that increases to 50% for those that do.
People are trusting these "professionals" with their livelihoods and are being incited and misinformed.

He may have read something different than what the newsletter said.

Also, the 50 employees is a full time equivalent number -- not just fifty employees. I could have 100 employees who average up to 25 hours / week and not have to pay.
