Whenever I am producing any sort of media on the topic of Trump, I solemnly swear to preface any and all statement's along these lines:

Donald Trump, a known criminal still occupying the office of the President and supported by a majority of the Republicans, many of whom are known to receive support from Russia, an enemy of the United States, said today... ______________.

4. Anybody can make a pledge or respond affirmatively when sworn in. We can trust an

ethical person in these processes but we can't trust an unethical person, their word isn't worth a damn.
And we always find out who is to be trusted and who is not, don't we? So pledges and swearings aren't
a waste of time, (though they could be). They serve to separate the ethical from the unethical, the sheep from the goats, the wheat from the chaff and the winners from the weenies.
