What would be your articles of impeachment?

In my opinion, the list of articles of impeachment should be long and thorough. there are dozens of high crimes and serious offenses. I would be disappointed if the scope is narrow.

Many of us have spent countless hours reading articles, watching hearings. We can't keep track of all the illegal activity that Trump engaged in.

So if you were going to write up a list of articles of impeachment, what would be on it?

To keep this organized, please list ONLY ONE OFFENSE PER REPLY.

Please put the name in subject and a brief description in the message text, describing the offense and some of the basic circumstances around it. Then people can reply/discuss each offense and whether or not it really deserves to be an article of impeachment. it would be great to include links and references to back up your reasoning.

before you add a new one, please look over the list and make sure you are not duplicating.

and please resist attempts to put sarcastic things in there like "just being an asshole".

when activity/discussion seems to level off, I will compile it into a single list. it could be the DU Articles of Impeachment.

It will be interesting to see what we come up with collectively.

Trump has hidden his financial status so we do not know how he is profiting from the presidency.

Republicans claim to be strict adherents to the Constitution. There is a clause describing Trump's corruption.

The SOB lines his pockets every time he goes golfing:
R&B for the Secret Service
Cart rental for the SS to follow his fat ass through all 18 holes
Food for him and his staff at HIS place
Room & board for all of his staff
Owning the hotel in DC where foreign emissaries sign up to stay to kiss up to his fat ass

Jimmy Carter sold his peanut farm to avoid any hint of "conflict of interest."

Former Trump deputy campaign chairman Rick Gates testified that Trump and Stone had talked about information that was coming that could help the campaign in mid-2016, at a time when Stone was attempting to get secret details about stolen Democratic documents WikiLeaks had.

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort also apparently told the Mueller grand jury what Trump's approach to WikiLeaks had been in 2016, according to the Mueller report.
But Trump told Mueller in his written statements he didn't recall discussing WikiLeaks with Stone.

I know it's a cliche, but he should have his picture next to the word "fraud" in the dictionary. He is so thoroughly a fraud that I don't think one could extract anything real from him at all. Related to that is all the lying he does. I've known some compulsive liars, but I've never seen anyone come close to matching Donald Trump. So I agree with the conspiracy charge and the other charge of general unfitness for office as well.

All roads lead to Putin, so said Speaker Pelosi to Trump--to his face!

Every official act Trump takes is to benefit Russia at the expense of our national interest. Trump is acting as if he's trying to overthrow our country.
