1. Thanks for posting this.

Was curious but got sidetracked and never checked. Was it the line about no deal with China until after November 2020? Even last night on Bloomberg Radio I heard a lineup of guests (investors, economists) still fantasizing about a China trade deal soon (they probably mean by Christmas). I don't think it's coming, except for possibly a fake "baby-step" deal for China to buy more soybeans and pork.

3. Inch by inch the Global Trade war is worsening

Tariffs do not work! Protectionism does not work. Republicans used to know this.

Trump's goal isn't increased trade, it's destabilization.

8. It dived last December too as people took the fools gold and ran

The market is over-over bought on so many levels so a pull back was expected this month. Still who knows if it turns into a correction. 300 points is nothing at these market levels.

9. I know people near retirement have real money and lifestyle impact at stake but...

I find myself more and more rooting against the DOW as some sort of pronounced slump appears to be the only way to really insure that the red states don't reelect this fucking fascist buffoon due to the conservatism inherent in the electoral college system.
