Make “conservative” as dirty of a word as they’ve tried to make “liberal” all these years.

Besides, all of this is the logical extension of conservative “ideology,” because it’s all part of the core of their social pathology. It was never going to result in anything different. Make them own the trash that they and their entire worldview are, once and for all.

Half this nation will always be conservative. We have to return to getting along, and a first step to that is to work on their understanding of what liberal is, not copy them.

We need to keep in mind that only some of Trump's con followers are hard-core cultists who'll support him to the end. A lot of others are still supporting him because they think they have to in a time of national danger, much of it caused by liberal Democrats who've gone crazy, or so they've been taught to believe. Those will drop Der Leader if they feel more secure. This is a proven political dynamic.

Our part of saving our nation from their mass lunacy has to be to make that last come asap, not delay it. Because they won't, but neither they nor we are going anyplace, while the same can't be said for our democracy, our prosperity, or our security.

So proposed good deeds for every day: Smile and chat nicely with as many conservatives as possible.

Yeah, I know. It's okay if behind their pleasant masks as they coo over your kitten pictures are suspicion and rejection. That's something we do have in common these days.

Period.

Just like I don’t associate with, criminals, scumbags who go out of their way to hurt people, bigots, the willfully stupid, or those who willingly associate with any of the above.

Since all conservatives are at least one of those things, I have zero use for them.

And I don’t care if they’re half or all of the country.

I have my standards and I refuse to lower them for the dregs of the earth.

Socializing's easy, I guess. Just turn down almost everyone and everything that'll be a mixed group.

How about school? Going to pull your kids out, if you have them?

No to tech support, of course. They won't even tell you where they are, much less their political orientation.

No to 911 of course (!) and also to asking strangers for directions or wishing them a good day.

Give up almost any activities you might enjoy because they mean associating with conservatives?

No parks, Aquaria, not without directing hate stares at everyone to keep them away to avoid "associating." Same for neighbors, both those identified as traitors and might-be's.

And if all this is making refuge in a quiet room in a mental institution start to look good, forget it. Staff!

The mere sight makes a lot of them burst a blood vessel (hmm...).

Will not only reject him, but also she’ll do it in a way that makes him painfully aware of all his inadequacies, of which he has an infinite supply. And she doesn’t even need to intend to do that. It’ll be clear, anyway. The disdain or pity we feel for them can’t be hidden.

We guys all have sensitive egos. But Republican egos are made of cotton candy.
