They seemed a little panicky. They where carrying on about Biden. They asked me what I thought. I said it will probably help Bernie or Warren win. I thought their heads where going to explode. Then I went down the list of the other candidates. It hadn't occured to them that one of them was going to win the Democratic nomination. I said I can't wait till the republican nominee has to debate them. Then the vapors and fainting started. They where all.. What?...What? I don't want talk about this... Then they dispersed to their holes in the ground. I breathed a deep breath of satisfaction. Walked off Mission Accomplished!

(203 posts)Kinda whiney. Not as tough as most people might think. Most of them dodge with religious defense and don't like heated debate. They go for the we will pray for you. By heated debate I mean strong people disagreeing with them. I'm large and loud and generally intervene when I see people in trouble. Such is life.

(692 posts)There's no advantage for Trump in any debate - he can't compete. He can only come off as a tongue-tied lying creep on the debate podium...
He can't win a debate - why would he participate in one?

(15,082 posts)He has thrown away every norm so far, he will see no benefit to showing up to a debate. Unlike his rallies, he can't control the environment or the questions. He is, at the depths of his soul, a sniveling coward.

(56,828 posts)and lost all 3 debates pretty badly and his poll numbers went down after each debate.
However, he had help from Russia, GOP voter suppression, the media and Comey

(23,292 posts)He actually said "the founding fathers loved their slaves and treated them very well." Exact quote. When he got to " what really screwed this country up was giving women the right to vote" I said "You know, it's time to leave." I turned the light off and left him sitting in the office.

(6,588 posts)That's a good point, because I think they're REALLY scared of those two. I'll bet if they were honest a lot of Republicans would say that if Trump had to lose to someone, they'd prefer it be Biden.
