5. he hasn't been subpoena'd.....

He was invited. But you are correct, he is waiting for a court ruling due on Monday in the McGhan case (he is resisting his subpoena).

I think he wants to testify, but needs some cover. He is driven by...

- a desire to ratfuck trump, after trump humiliated and fired him
- a need to have a fig leaf so the right doesn't blame him for ratfucking a republican potus
- a rush to make a killing from his book, which will get a HUGE boost if he testifies

So yeah, maybe he will and maybe he won't.

Is watching this ruling on the subpoenas. He will appear if the judges rules for the enforcement of the subpoenas.

Bolton would have been before the committee already. He seems to be playing it too cagey by half. He can't appear too willing to testify, but if he delays too long, he risks not having anything substantive to contribute, and therefore nothing that will help justify his actions (or failures to act).

12. If he testify, that will either bury Trump or muddy the waters.

He was close to Trump during the whole thing about the military aid and he dealt with a lot of the other players involved.

They will be sorely disappointed. When push comes to shove, Bolton will do the wrong thing and try to torpedo the Dems. Owning the libs is SOP for him, and he won't make himself persona non grata with the wingnut welfare carousel by getting Trump impeached, regardless of how poorly he thinks he was treated by Dotard.

Absolutely nobody should trust that a-hole. I repeat: No matter how enticing it seems, Bolton can never be trusted.

and the dems can decide if they want to hear from him in public. if he changes his testamony for the pub;lic hearing, he may be open to lying to congress.

but bolton hates trump at this point. he has no reason to pull punches except against other gop officials.

13. I doubt that he will lie under oath to protect Trump.

Also remember, Trump was doing things that Bolton stoutly opposes.

I believe that when democrats call him, them would have put most of the nails into Trump's coffin lid, Bolton would just be to drive the last nail and make it impossible for republicans to keep protecting Trump.
