He summarized why it was a bribery: Trump conditioned providing an official act (missiles, White House visit) for a thing of value to Trump personally (manufactured dirt on Biden and Crowdstrike and a Biden-besmirching public announcement by Ukraine of an investigation into Biden/Burisma and 2016 US election/Crowdstrike servers).

In short, it was missiles for manufactured dirt.

That’s someone with a comprehensive understanding of the full context of everything going on, what's being testified to, the law, the Constitution, the ideals of the nation, and someone speaking from conviction. This is what Republicans hate about Democrats. Because they don’t understand it, and can’t fake it.

- also, Nixon retained the ability to reasonably weigh outcomes and choose the one that was the lease dangerous in the long run. Orange Judas wouldn't understand the "long run" in any way. He light think it referred to a ski slope. Or to a golf hole.
