ransomware attack on louisiana state computers

I need more info but the governor said that the cybersecurity team is on top of ot and that it should not effect the election results.

ransom amount was not mentioned.

I would say that the state of Louisiana is probably better prepared for this than many private sector companies. It's really the towns and small cities that are among the least prepared for the ransom attacks within the public sector.
